Wax? paper is used ...
Wax? paper is used to keep the plastic from melting to your iron and ironing board. One side is shiny and flat, and the reverse side is smooth and wax coated. It prevents stuff from sticking to it and can usually easily be removed from sticky substances. Most grocery and baking stores should carry it.

Thanks for this great video. Ultimately you could make tents out of the bags or growing domes for plants. You might want to realize? that you can cut soda bottles in strips. These strips could reinforce such bags. but don't heat them up as they will shrink. but they could be inserted into a strap

4:22 --- NO WAY!!! You can put? a camera AND a magazine in there????! Hey, kinda cool, the black bags make it look kind of like worn out leather. (also want to mention, I have dogs yet still use my grocery bags for a lot more things than just that... we line garbage cans, use and re-use them for carrying things, ect... not wasted in this family)

I also agree that ...
I also agree that there is a -lot- of trial and error in iron settings.? I tried the recommended setting and eventually ended up having it on the wool setting which is much higher.

MrBonblade does ...
MrBonblade does have a point. I reckon it would probably be a better idea to just use car buckles - they looked? fantastic anyway. Buying one bag and taking buckles off of it to put on another bag defeats SOME of the purpose in recycling - UNLESS you're using what's left of the cannibalized bag for another project.
